At In My Garden, we look back to go forward. We aim to grow your flowers sustainably - as our grandparents did. We constantly seek better ways to produce top-quality, long-lasting blooms without destroying our world. Seasonal growing and a circular economy are at the forefront of our growing mentality. We work collaboratively with other local growers, to provide our customers with the blooms they need. With the philosophy, you go together if you want to go far. This is why in 2020, In My Garden joined with two other growers to form a flower collective aptly named Flower Collective Manawatu. With a field-to-vase mentality, we aim to be your neighbourhood flower grower and encourage you to seek flowers as close to your home as possible.
Our Story
Back in 2019, with a desire to make use of our lifestyle block, In My Garden Ltd, was born. We started small, but took the opportunity to buy a 400m/2 tunnelhouse and now have indoor growing space as well as outside fields. This has enabled us to provide speciality cut flower varieties alongside garden-style flowers, almost all year round. Keeping note of the changing trends in wedding florals, Caroline is the seed selector for each season. She is the grower, picker and bouquet maker. Colin is in charge of infrastructure build and maintenance as well as mowing the lawns. He also runs his own business.
